Meet Our Pastor...

"Hi, my name is John Kroeze (pronounced Cruise). I am the son of Dutch immigrants born in Tasmania. I have worked in various occupations until it finally became clear in my mind that I wanted to serve the Lord as a missionary. To that end I got my Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Ancient Civilisations at the University of Tasmania.

 

From there I went and studied at the Canadian Reformed Seminary where I received my Masters of Divinity degree and then followed a course in Missiology for another year while I served a small congregation in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

I was sent to Brazil by the Cornerstone Canadian Reformed Church of Hamilton and served there for some 10 years establishing a church in Maceió, Alagoas. Next I returned to Tasmania and served the Free Reformed Church of Legana for 18 years. During that time I have helped out in the Reformed Churches in PNG in Lae and at the Reformed Churches Bible College near Port Moresby.

 

Recently I answered the call of the Free Reformed Church of Armadale W.A. to serve the congregation in Cairns as their home missionary and pastor. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is dear to my heart and I desire to serve Him by bringing His gospel to the ends of this earth."
